Dennaya Famous

Vegas is a city known for flashing lights, elaborate parties, and excessive gambling, but as flashy and expensive as the city may be, it is not known for its sense of fashion nor style. On a mission to change the views of the city, nearly two years ago Dennaya Famous started her styling career here in the city and within six months opened her very first vintage boutique, D.FAME.

Just like everyone else, Dennaya’s beginning started with a dream, but a dream wasn’t enough. Reality set, and she realized that dreaming wasn’t enough; she needed to put action behind her dreams. The true definition of a hustler, she took the opportunity to learn the business and brand herself as a fashion icon within the very city she was born and raised. On top of being a full time college student Dennaya hustled on the scene, handing out business cards, booking photo shoots, and networking herself into fashion industry. With motivation, drive, and ambition along with the encouragement of family Dennaya embarked upon her ambitious journey to pursue her dreams and push the envelope. Within the next six months she plans to take her career to the next level and open a flag ship store in Las Vegas. Every day is a new opportunity to start on a new endeavor and continue to pursue dreams.

“Style and fashion are everything to me, whether I’m expressing it through myself or a client, I always have the saying ‘dress the way you want to be addressed’ in the back of my head.”

Fashion and style transcend material objects and big names and labels for Dennaya. Fashion is a creative and expressive feeling or thought within an individual.

“For me, D.FAME is not just a way to make money, but a way to give back to my community in a creative and expressive way that I know. Others do it through music, dance, theater, or politics, for me its fashion. It’s what I know and love. Being born and raised in Vegas has allowed me to take advantage of the glamour and beauty I’ve seen within my city growing up. I want my brand to be known not only for the things I sale, but for what I have given back to a community that I love and place high upon a pedestal.”

Within the next six months Dennaya plans to take D.FAME to the next level and open a flag ship store in Las Vegas. While being an ambassador of fashion style, Dennaya strives to be a leader within the community and give another the opportunity to dream and achieve to their full potential as she has done.
