Winter Lips

These winter months can be brutal for the lips and although I live in LA and it doesn't get super cold.....I still show my lips some extra love during this season with a few essential products. One of the keys to super soft winter lips is exfoliating, I like to exfoliate 2 times a week (more than twice is way too much during the winter) to remove all the dead skin and God knows what else with French Girl Rose Lip Polish . This scrub takes my lips from dull to super soft and shiny within a few seconds. Next let's get into the balms if you're anything like me you walk around with a million balms and glosses in your purse, but like all things we have our favorites and these are mine. Let's start with the night balm if you sleep with the heater on full blast also like me that means your lips are probably dry AF when you wake up! Here's my solution; C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm  I've been using this balm for years and it's one of my all time favorites. I like to apply it 20-30 mins before I fall asleep to assure that it has time to work it's magic before I K.O. Next my day balms, at a certain point during the day I'm over lipstick and switch to balms only and on the weekends it's for sure balms only. Anything minty during the winter makes me feel festive so I'm all the way here for C.O. Bigelow's Vanillamint Supreme Lip ShineGlossier's Mint Balm Dotcom  and Minted Rosebud Salve by Rosebud Perfume Co.  . All three are super thick (which means winter time perfection) and super hydrating, so you can say goodbye to those chapped lips! Lastly, water intake is very important during the winter so make sure you're drinking more than enough everyday to assure that those those lips are plump, soft and kissable!
