Mellow Yellow
Yellow is definitely one of the hottest trends for Fall 2018, the super warm hue was seen all over the runways during fashion week - and I’m obsessed. Yellow is one of those colors that could look good on any skin tone and with so many shades it’s easy to find a tone that works for you. My first attempt at the trend was a bold one although, it’s hard not to be when rocking such a standout color. Missguided is one of my favorite places to find on trend pieces that are great quality and most important affordable. This cord set from Missguided accompanied with a bold red lip did not disappoint … there’s just something about red and yellow together that makes my heart sing….but back to the outfit. What I love most about the pieces themself is the versatility. I can rock the jacket with jeans, the skirt with a vintage tee or wear them together. Because I am definitely the girl that will wear a piece over and over again because I am super comfortable and confident in it. Honestly, that’s always at the top of my mind whenever I add anything new to my closet - if it doesn’t add value or elevate I don’t want it. This mindset keeps me in check and helps me hone in on the things I really like and it helps me avoid having a closet full of items I’ll only wear once.
